Lahore, University of Health Sciences Lahore started admissions in the MBBS and BDS programs. The UHS Lahore managed the entry test of the candidates and interviews of the successful candidates for grant of admission in the 17 medical and 3 dental colleges of the province. Now UHS Lahore has prepared the merit list of the candidates, which is 86.1818 while the merit of the previous year was 84.3615. UHS Lahore has calculated the merit list of the candidates through the formula being given by PMDC. According to this formula, the marks has been taken as 10% from Matric, 40% from FSc (Pre-Medical) and 50% from entry test being conducted by UHS Lahore.
UHS Lahore received total 41677 applications for grant of admission in the MBBS and BDS programs. 8783 candidates were eligible to appear in the entry test. When the result of the entry test is announced, 3197 candidates are providing admission on open merit including 3022 in MBBS program and 175 in BDS program. UHS Lahore has reserved 61 seats for under developed areas, in which 49 students are given admission in the MBBS and 12 are given admission in the BDS program. UHS Lahore has also reserved 20 seats for disabled candidates, in which 19 are given admission in MBBS and 01 candidates in BDS program.
