Stem Careers Program is the joint venture of the Higher Education Commission and Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences is going to start the Pakistan Olympiad Teams for 2015. For this purpose, they are going to start the 11thNational Science Talent Contest (NSTC-11). The international Olympiads will be contested in the following categories:
· 26thInternational Biology Olympiad in Denmark
· 47thInternational Chemistry Olympiad in Azerbaijan
· 56thInternational Mathematical Olympiad in Thailand
· 46th International Physics Olympiad in India
The interested candidates can apply to participate in the 11th National Science Talent Contest by sending their application till December 20, 2013. The candidates will also be provided with the cash prizes and certificates as well as offers admission in the BS Program in the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) with entry test to Pakistan IPOH team.
The candidates should have scored an aggregate of 70% marks or more in core subjects including Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics of Matric or O-level. The applicants should be FSc/A-level 1st year student and their ages must not more than 20 years and should not be enrolled in any university on 30 June 21015.
